In order for the Windows Gecho App to run, you may need to install drivers for the CH340G chip (the USB to Serial converter located on the board).
You can download it from our website - v3.3 zip archive / v3.4 zip archive or from the official website - v3.4 zip archive / v3.4 executable
(this "Chinese website" is the chip manufacturer's own website so it should be safe)
How to install - I haven't verified this tutorial but it looks good.
Gecho App in its current version (v041 beta) will try to auto-detect the board but without necessary drivers it will hang. Also, make sure the board is connected and detected by the system as a USB device - the orange USB LED should blink in a pattern of 3x2 blinks shortly after plugged in.
