General Problem with App

Hi There,

I downloaded the application and installed it but somehow always when I connect the gecho via usb to the Windows computer, it tells me that there is no gecho connected. Do I need to press a special combination of buttons on the device before connecting? Must be some stupid mistake of myself,

Hi Bruno,

No, it should just work (if Gecho is powered on and in ready state (orange "RDY" LED blinking slowly).

If you haven't used similar (i.e. Arduino-based) small synths then you need to install drivers as explained in this thread. Also, on some computers it is necessary to run the app in "administrator mode", as it can't access the virtual serial port otherwise.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll add the feature to the next version of the app to install them automatically.
